This event is a celebration of people\, creatives\, and the human experience without the influence of giant companies.\n\nHow does it work:\n\n- There will be a Main Lobby live stream running for the duration of the event for people to come and get more information\, direct people to the currently active stream\, as well as progress on the current schedule.\n\n\n- Streamers will be provided a custom URL to stream to during the event.\n\n\n- Viewers simply visit a unique link for each stream when the time comes.\n\n\n- Each time slot will have one streamer and when the stream is done\, the "parade" will be directed to the next stream starting at that time.\n\n\n- Streamers can use existing streaming software like OBS Studio with little change other than the destination to stream to.\n\n\n- Creatives who are not streamers can use software like OBS Studio to get set up\, or can use a simple mobile app to turn a smartphone into a live-streaming camera to be used for the event.\n\n\n- Viewers do not need an account to view or comment. All dates and times are tentative and subject to change. The current plan is to split it between 2 consecutive days.\n\nThe overall structure would be as follows:\n\n- Each artist would get a time slot of 60\, 90\, or possibly 120 mins to stream.\n\n\n- The stream would be hosted using PeerTube at brioco.live \, or possibly another PeerTube site. This is to avoid issues that can arise from how other sites do monetization.\n\n\n- Each artist would have a separate URL to stream to during their time slot. While using OBS Studio on a computer to stream is recommended\, streaming directly from a Smartphone is also easy.\n\n\n- Artists who have online portfolios or stores can work to have the stream embedded in a way to showcase their work alongside the stream. Basic pages could be setup without too much difficulty.\n\n\n- Artists are encouraged to promote any existing storefronts\, commission pages\, donation pages\, membership platforms (Patreon\, Ko-Fi\, BuyMeACoffee\, etc)\, social media links\, etc during their stream.\n\n\n- The goal is to promote each other. Exposing viewers to new artists they may never have heard of as well as showing support for independent creatives in a positive and encouraging way is a key tenant of this event.
